AI website wireframes that skip the filler sections.

Describe the page and who it is for. Your agent sketches at least three structures in browser frames, side by side, and leaves out every section that answers no real question.

A website wireframe is a low-fidelity sketch of a web page: which sections it has, in what order, how much room each gets, and where the main call to action sits. It is where you decide the structure of a landing page, a pricing page or a docs home before anyone picks fonts. An AI wireframe generator gives you several structures to compare instead of one draft to defend.

Prototyper's agent draws each option in a hand-drawn kit inside a browser frame with a real route in the address bar, uses believable copy instead of lorem ipsum, and avoids the default page of a nav, a hero, three cards and a footer.

Try these prompts

Paste one into the chat, or pick Wireframe under “Start with a format” first. Naming the axis of variation keeps the three options from converging on the same page.

Landing page for a scheduling app
Wireframe the landing page for a team scheduling app aimed at clinic managers. Three options that differ on what leads: a product screenshot, a one-question calculator, and a customer story.
Pricing page
Wireframe a pricing page for a SaaS product with three plans. Three options: a classic plan table, a plan picker that asks two questions first, and a single plan with add-ons.
Portfolio site for a photographer
Wireframe the home page of a portfolio site for a wedding photographer. Three options that differ on density: a full-bleed gallery, a filterable wall of thumbnails, and a short story with three featured weddings.
Docs home
Wireframe the home page of developer docs for an API. Three options for navigation: a left sidebar, a search-first page, and task cards for the five most common jobs.

How to wireframe a website with AI

  1. 01

Say what the page is for.

The audience and the one action you want from them: “clinic managers, start a free trial”. That decides what the primary button is on every option.

  2. 02

    Choose what should vary.

What leads the page, how dense it is, or how people find their way around. Or let the agent propose a few axes and pick one.

  3. 03

Read the options side by side.

At least three sketches in browser frames, labelled 1a, 1b and 1c, ordered from the most conventional to the riskiest, each with notes on its trade-offs.

  4. 04

    Refine the one you like.

Follow a suggested next prompt, such as “make 1b a single scrolling page”, or mix parts of two options.

  5. 05

    Build the page.

Ask the agent to build the chosen structure as a working page. It lands next to the sketch on the canvas, where your team can review it.

Why wireframe the page first

01

Structure before style

Section order and emphasis are cheap to change in a sketch and expensive in a finished design.

02

No filler sections

A block that answers no visitor question is left out of the wireframe, not polished later.

03

One clear action per page

Each option makes its primary action obvious, so you compare real choices.

Frequently asked questions

What is a website wireframe?
A low-fidelity sketch of a web page that shows its sections, their order and the main call to action, without visual design.
Can it wireframe a whole site, not just one page?
Yes. Ask for a flow across pages, such as home to pricing to sign-up, and each option comes back as a storyboard of browser windows, each with its own route.
Does it use real copy?
It uses believable placeholder copy, names and routes rather than lorem ipsum, so you can tell whether a layout works. Replace it with your own copy whenever you like.
How many options will I get?
At least three per request, and up to five or six in a round if you ask.
Can I turn the wireframe into a working page?
Yes. Ask the agent to build the option you picked, and the working page appears next to the sketch on the same canvas.
